REPORTS TO: Pre School Supervisor
INTERFACES WITH: Faculty, Staff, Student Services, Counselor, and Parents
SUPERVISES: Assigned support services personnel
JOB GOAL:
The early childhood teacher would be responsible for creating dynamic classroom within the framework of the IB PYP. He/ She would also help promote family support and communication, be willing to work in a highly collaborative environment where fellow teachers, classroom support personnel, and the Program Supervisor problem solve and plan for student success.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To create a classroom environment that respects the Reggio Emilia
philosophy for early childhood education within the framework of the IB PYP.
- To create a compassionate, caring and safe environment for children, their
families and center staff.
- To be an active part of the evaluation and planning phases of the educational
process.
- To strive for and achieve quality in all endeavors.
- To be responsive to child and family needs in a timely manner.
- To act responsibly in the use of the school’s human and material resources.
- To cultivate a learning environment that is responsive to the diverse learning
styles of all children.
- To nurture the social and character development of all children.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
According to School Policies and Procedures.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:
Annual performance evaluation completed by the Early Childhood Program.

الهدف الوظيفي:
مسؤولية مدرس الطفولة الروضة هي توفير بيئة ديناميكية في الصف ضمن برنامج البكالوريا
الدولية للمرحلة الابتدائية. يتوقع منه أيضا دعم التواصل مع الاهل وأن يكون مستعدا
للعمل في بيئة تعاونية يعمل فيها المدرسون وموظفي دعم الطلاب ومشرف الروضة على حل المشاكل والتخطيط لنجاح وتطور الأطفال.
مسؤوليات الاداء:
- خلق بيئة في الصف تحترم فلسفة للتعليم Reggio Emilia في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة في إطار برنامج البكالوريا الدولية للمرحلة الابتدائية.
- المساهمة في توفير بيئة أمنة تتصف بالتعاطف والرعاية للاطفال وأهاليهم وموظفي المركز.
- العضوية الفعالة في التقييم والتخطيط لمراحل التعليم.
- السعي لتحقيق الجودة اليزة في كل الجوانب
- الاستجابة الى احتياجات الطفل والاهل في الوقت المناسب.
- التصرف بمسؤولية في استعمال الموارد البشرية والمادية للمدرسة
- خلق بيئة تعلمية في الصف تستجيب الى التنوع في أساليب تعلم الاطفال
- تعزيز التنمية الاجتماعية والشخصية لجميع الاطفال.

تقييم الاداء :
يتم تقييم الاداء السنوي من قبل مشرف الروضة ومراجعته من قبل مدير المدرسة
الابتدائية.
متطلبات الوظيفة
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified teacher with Early Childhood preparation.
- BA Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of the PYP, the Reggio Emilia and the High Scope programs would be an asset
- Successful teaching experience at the Kindergarten level
- Knowledgeable of early childhood students and their developmental patterns and needs
- Proficiency in English or Arabic. Bilingual English/Arabic would be considered an asset.
المؤهلات:
- مدرس معتمد في تعليم الطفولة المبكرة
- حيازة درجة البكالوريوس في مجال ذي صلة
- معرفة ب ال PYP وبرنامج ريجيو إميليا وبرنامج High Scope تعتبر إضافة نوعية
- خبرة في التدريس في رياض الاطفال.
- معرفة جيدة حول مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة وأنماط نمو الأطفال
- اتقان اللغة الانكليزية وأجادة اللغة العربية تعتبر إضافة نوعية.
