Introduction : 

Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator (PICTI), is an independent Palestinian organization based in Ramallah with a branch in Gaza. PICTI has been created through the initiative and support of the Palestinian Information Technology Community. PICTI’s mission is to support Palestinian ICT entrepreneurs in developing their innovative business ideas and contributing towards the revitalization and sustainable growth of the ICT sector in Palestine.

Nepras for media and IT: is a Palestinian leading company that was established since 2001 it combines between the Media power and Information Technology efficiency. It is the first time to combine between media work and information technology in a specialist way, so it aims to provide distinctive services and effective solutions that matches the local and international market's requirements. After 13 years of success, Nepras is seeking to expand its services and enlarge its market by providing a trustworthy solutions as well as unique creative and best afforded services, to meet different institution's needs.

PICTI with Nepras for consultations and development, are seeking talented individual/ freelancer computer  engineer to work with Nepras as an early stage company incubated by PICTI under a Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) funded project entitled: "Economic Recovery in the Gaza Strip: Promoting Choice, Resilience and Dignity- Phase II". This project aims to increase participation in user-driven market systems for female and male small and medium-scale producers, processors and entrepreneurs in the Gaza Strip.
The Early Stage companies’ competition is a new competition targeting ICT firms (5 firms) and aims to support them by incubation services to develop their startup products.

Assignment Objective:

PICTI is considering the selection of a highly qualified UXUI designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Main Tasks & responsibilities: 

-Collaborate with product manager to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
-Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off for applications.
-Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
-Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
-Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to project stakeholders
-Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
-Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

Qualifications & skills:
-Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
-Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
-Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
-Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
-Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
-Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
-Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
