Farouk Systems Palestine based in Ramallah, is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies.

Chemist

Scope: 
Develop and replicate hair formulation by due dates. Manage and coordinate day to day lab regulatory requirements for product development.

Job Duties
-Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct test.
-Develop, improve, and customize products, equipment, formulas, processes, and analytical methods.
-Manage “day-to-day” projects, mixing, reporting based on product need and development requests.
-Assess project feasibility and assign work to lab technicians based on the degree of complexity and skills required
-Keep time schedule for submissions to marketing, formula evaluation, pilot schedule, stability, safety testing, and product registration. 
-Monitoring chemicals processes and testing products as part of quality assurance.
-Interface with contractors and suppliers.
-Ensure effective coordination and communication with Marketing and Sales Department
-Interact with Production, Purchasing and Quality Control Department.
-Performing lab activities, such as setting up lab equipment and preparing chemical solutions, conducting tests, interpret and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present conclusion.
-Maintain laboratory safety standards
-Strong lab and operational skills.
-Ability to follow written procedures and test protocol
-Maintain and clean and safe environment
-Perform routine analytical and physical tests
-Ensure that customer’s expectations are met/exceeded.

Qualifications:
-Fluent in Arabic and English
-BS. In chemistry from an accredited university (MS is a plus)
-Minimum 2 years of industry/laboratory research experience.
