SOS Children's village Rafah In partnership with Islamic Relief Worldwide, seeks to recruit Social Worker, Located at SOS Children's Village Rafah

Position Summary:
the goal of this position is ensuring quality care for orphan children within sponsorship program monitored By Islamic Relief –Palestine 

Tasks and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited    
-Undertake the social investigation about each individual child case and ensure that all related information is collected properly through reliable sources.
-Screen admission cases as per the organization Admission Criteria
-Follow-up issuing official papers for the admitted child in the sponsorship program 
-Conduct visits to the candidates cases in the program.
-Update the information concerning any changes in the status of the biological families
-provide and supervise all other relevant materials and reports as reasonably requested by IRPAL and within the agreed timeframe 
-keep a copy of reports and documents; retain files and records for safe keeping
-Fill questionnaire and forms on child development plans and progress field visits and reports.
-Coordinate the arranged activities, and to abide and undertake all the services to the highest standards.

Qualifications:
-Degree in social science, psychology, or related field 
-Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in the social field 
-Good commanded in English competencies
-Ability to work under pressure 
-Females are Encouraged to apply
-Candidates preferred to be from Rafah and Khan Younis areas
