2-Department : Relief & Social Services Programme
3-Basic Salary:  Limited Duration Contract (LDC) - Band “C” – S1 ,506.00 JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4-Allowances:: Dependency Allowances payable and other benefits (Medical Insurance) & Currency Adjustment Factor. 

5-Qualifications:
-Completion of BA in Sociology, social work, or other related field.
-Two years experience in field and/ or social work, knowing the traditions of the Palestinian refugees.
-Excellent knowledge of Arabic (written and spoken). Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Competencies
Ability to work under tight deadline with pending several tasks at times.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
-The contractor may be required to work beyond the regular working hours.
-The contractor may be required to travel inside the areas of UNRWA operations.
-Knowledge of Agency Rules, Regulations, and other UNRWA operating systems and activities. Knowledge of Database Systems and their use in Management, Monitoring, and Evaluation.
-Possession of a valid driving license.

-Appointment to these posts is subject to probationary period three months duration. Upon satisfactory com- pletion of this period, contract will be extended.
-Upon satisfactory completion of this period, appointment will be confirmed subject to continuing need for the post.
