Title:Project Coordinator (project of EnhancingEducation Quality through Science and Technology Innovation Clubs).

Project Description:

IRPAL is implementing an education project “Enhancing Education Quality through Science and Technology Innovation Clubs”, targeting 22 schools over Gaza strip. The project aims to improve and enhance education quality through establishing science and technology innovation clubs.

Main Duties of project coordinator:
-Overall management of the project scope, time (planning and scheduling), cost (budget), quality, and other aspects of project management in collaboration with programme team, and supporting departments including procurement, communications and finance.
-Manage the implementation of the project in adherence to IRPAL policies and practices, and ensure implementing the project activities guided by IRPAL vision, and the projects goals towards achieving the anticipated results.
-Supervise the process of designing and dissemination of operational manuals for innovation Clubs by local consultants and experts.
-Represent IRPAL in front of relevant stakeholders, clusters, technical committees, and other networks related to child care and education, and participate effectively in coordination meetings.
-Ensure project documentation and visibility in collaboration with communications department through photos, videos, case studies.
-Responsible for producing results-based reports as per the donors' and IRPAL requirements.       
-Participate in selection of local partners (where applicable), and supervise the project implementation by partners, give expertise and guidance to partners according to IRPAL policies and procedures, and ensure empowering local community through transferring systems, knowledge and skills.
-Monitoring the project budget and controlling expenditure in consultation with direct supervisor.

Candidates must possess the following competencies:
-University degree in Education, development studies, or related field.
-Minimum 3 years of proven relevant working experience, preferably with INGOs
-Experience of directing and implementing programs in development contexts.
-Strong experience of NGO development programme cycle management.

General skills required for project coordinator position:
-Very good knowledge and skills of project management including projects design and implementation
-Very good supervision and follow up skills.
-Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
-Research design, data analysis, and reporting skills.
-Ability to network and build relations with stakeholders. 
-Knowledge of MS Office applications
