Data Migration Specialist/Business Analyst

ASAL Technologies is a leading regional Software and IT Services company based in Ramallah – Palestine.

We are seeking a Data Migration Specialist/Business Analyst to join our firm as a dedicated key resource tackling complicated business, customer, and technology challenges.

The Data Migration Specialist/Business Analyst is primarily responsible for harvesting business logic for migration, accuracy of the business needs of the Salesforce platform, negotiating the acceptance rules and leading the migration from any platform to Salesforce platform.

Position Responsibilities:

-Translate complex data and processes for our customers in a digestible way.
-Work with a team of Data Migrations Analysts to execute on the queue of customers, and build new tools that will allow for quicker and more accurate data management.
-Work with other teams like Development and Project Management to inform on going process and feature improvements.
-Execute a migration strategy, approach, cutover strategy, and data processing.
-Strategize migration test scenarios including negative test cases.
-Conduct functional and technical analyses.
-Able to deduce and obtain business requirement from legacy platform, and document the business process.
-Review logic and business needs with clients and negotiate until full approval is obtained.
-Meet with business clients and review the requirements.

 
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
-A solid background working with advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Macros, and basic VB.
-Unrivaled organization skills and the ability to triage competing priorities
-Critical thinking and strong analytic skills
-Ability to translate functional requirements to test scenarios
-Experience in Data Migration and Data Integration.
-Excellent communications and presentation skills.
-Experience working with Salesforce or any other intricate CRM is a plus.
-Working knowledge of SQL is also a plus
