Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in1992 to assist the poorest people through its emergency relief, rehabilitation, development & child welfare programs in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist regardless the race, religion or gender. Secours Islamique France is seeking qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy:

Gaza Strip Projects Coordinator   (Ref #: 2016/03/ GSPC)

To be responsible for the overall management of projects in Gaza Strip & work directly with Gaza Strip Head of Mission

Qualifications & Experiences:

- University Degree or its equivalent a related field
- At least 10 years working experience with an international organization in Gaza Strip managing programs, including planning and administration, evaluation, proposal writing and fundraising, managing budgets, staff supervision and training
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position with oversight of staff, budgets, fundraising, and representation
- At least 5 years of practical experience in program planning and implementation with demonstrated knowledge of participatory consultative methodologies and strategies

Skills & Competencies:-

-Demonstrated experience in advocacy work
-Demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in speech and writing
-Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic required. French is an advantage
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively; set priorities for decision making, participating in a highly consultative process and meet deadlines

-Knowledge of Sphere Standards, Red-Cross/Red-crescent Code of Conduct & Humanitarian Accountability Program etc. is an advantage

-Ability to cope with situations of high risk in compliance with security measures ;work under pressure in the social, political, & physical environments of Gaza Strip

-Ability to travel frequently and under the particular travel requirements of the assignment.
-Computer skills particularly in MS Office applications, internet and e-mail
-Understanding of and commitment to the principles, concerns, and considerations of SIF in regard to issues of race, religion, class, age, gender and disabilities

-Strong communicator - ability to influence situations using tact and diplomacy
-Ability to work with diverse groups of people in multi-cultural team oriented environment
-Ability to lead and participate in teams but also to work independently
