Internal Auditor

Contract Duration : Full time

Department: Tariff Department
Report to: Director Of Tariff Department

Responsibility :
1-Work with Licensed distribution companies in gathering required data & information.
2-Assist in preparing accounting-related rules and information requirements for regulated companies.
3-Verify regulated companies> adherence to accepted accounting principles and practices.
4-Review accounting components of tariff requests, such as depreciation practices.
5-Conduct sites visits to licensees> facilities for purposes of data gathering, especially with regard to verifying cost information, and understanding financial and accounting systems in place.
6-Participate in conducting analyses of utility cost structure, and calculate revenue requirements.
7-Participate in development periodic reports based on the collected information.
8-Assist in the development and maintenance of data bases.

Main Qualifications:
1-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and/or recognized certification in accounting CPA or CIA preferred.
2-3-5 years related professional experience.
3-Private sector experience preferred, and/or public utility experience a strong plus.
4-Strong quantitative skills.
5-Computer literate in at least Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
6-Knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
7-Fluency in English required.
8-Demonstrated ability to work in teams on complex issues in an evolving environment.
