The Ramallah Friends School (RFS) -- an over century old KG-12th grade Quaker school in Ramallah & El-Bireh – is seeking to fill the vacancy of:
Facility Engineer
The school is undergoing several major & minor design, construction, & renovation projects on both campuses. This post-holder will be staffed within the Facility Management Department & will be charged with 1) structural/architectural design & drawings of buildings & structures; 2) preparation of tender documents including drawings & supervision of projects; 3) maintenance & administrative tasks & responsibilities.
It is required that the candidate possess a Bachelor’s degree in structural or architectural engineering or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience preferably with experience in design, tendering, supervision, & maintenance. In addition, the school is looking for a candidate with strong communication skills especially in English language, demonstrated computer literacy with excellent knowledge of CAD programs & outstanding management abilities. A one year renewable contract will be offered.

Business Development Manager (BDM)
Ramallah Friends School (RFS) continues a 147-year history of serving the needs of Palestinian children and families, providing educational excellence built upon the Quaker values of equality, simplicity, and peace. The school serves a student body of approximately 1,370 girls and boys in grades K-12.
This is a senior post whereby the candidate will be involved in the planning, implementation and reporting of existing and new business-related projects benefiting the school. The aim is ensure the implementation of several income-generating activities that will allow for a more diversified revenue stream for the school. The post holder will work under the direction and supervision of the Director of the Ramallah Friends School.
It is required that the candidate posses:

Masters degree in project or business management, MBA or related field.

At least 5 years of development/business experience with at least 3 years in a senior
position.

Experience in and knowledge of the business sector in the Palestine

Good background and experience in marketing.

Demonstrated IT, presentation and communication skills

Excellent command of written and spoken English.
