Accountant Position (ENG/AR)

Sawa Organization –Jerusalem is seeking a full-time candidate for the Accountant position at the organization, which begins with a trial period. There will also be extensive on-the-job training, support, and handover.
Primary responsibilities will include:
-Maintain general ledger accounts
-Prepare monthly reports for accounts payable, accounts receivables, general ledger, etc.
-Post journal entries to general ledger
-Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting
-Prepare bank reconciliations
-Financial statements preparation
-Assist with the semi-annual and annual audit

Professional qualifications and Experience:
-Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting
-S/he should be proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic is a significant
-Relevant professional experience minimum two years.
-Jerusalem ID is a must.
 
Accountant Skills and Qualifications:
-Accounting, Corporate Finance, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Reporting Research Results, SFAS Rules, Confidentiality, Time Management, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills.
-The Accountant should be motivated and committed to Sawa Organization’s goals of encouraging public discussion of violence against women and children, supporting victims, and contributing to ending these types of violence in Palestinian society.
