RTI (www.rti.org) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to conducting innovative, multidisciplinary research that improves the human condition. With a worldwide staff of more than 5,000 people, RTI offers innovative research and development and multidisciplinary services.
RTI International is requesting expressions of interest from qualified senior-level professionals for an anticipated higher education and vocational training project in the West Bank. The project will assist Higher Education Institutions (including technical colleges) to enhance students’ job readiness by bridging the gap between education outcomes and private sector needs. The Activity will focus on integrating global competencies and 21st century skills in selected fields using formal and non-formal interventions. Successful candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills including fluency in English. All positions are contingent upon award and funding.
Candidates are sought for the following openings:
Senior Technical Specialists:
Technical specialists will be responsible for planning activities, developing work plans, providing technical leadership, and delivering results in their respective technical component.

Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate professional excellence in their technical areas of expertise and experience in relevant technical, management, administrative, and capacity building experience in the West Bank.
-Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, education, international development or related and 7 years of experience (4 years with Master’s degree) in one or more of the areas listed below:
-Technical design of vocational school programs
-Curriculum development (vocational schools)
-Accreditation for vocational schools
-Pedagogy coaching, training and capacity building of instructors
-Capacity building of institutions (vocational schools)
-Partnerships development between institutions (vocational schools) and private sector
-Labor Market assessments
-Job placement/Career centers
-Youth employability and/or entrepreneurship programming
-Internship program development
-Gender and diversity integration
